Quick answers to how our services function.

About SOLegalNG & General Inquiries

Do you only teach Law students, or do you provide actual legal services?

We do both. Our Academic division provides tutoring and coaching for Law students worldwide. Our Professional Services division, on the other hand, provides contract drafting for businesses and startups, as well as legal script auditing for creatives.

Are your sessions held physically or online?

Our tutoring, coaching, and consulting sessions are conducted 100% online via Google Meet or Zoom, allowing us to assist students and clients anywhere in the world.

Who are the experts at SoLegalNG?

Our faculty consists of top-performing law graduates, Nigerian Law School alumni, and active legal practitioners who understand exactly what examiners and modern businesses require.

Is SoLegalNG a traditional law firm?

No. We are a specialized legal education and consulting platform. While we draft and review commercial contracts, we do not provide courtroom litigation or representation.

How do I book a session or request a service?

Getting started is easy. For our tutoring, coaching, or professional services, simply book a free consultation call or select a package directly on our website.

What payment methods do you accept and do you offer installment plans?

We accept payments securely via bank transfer and online card payments through our website. For our longer, multi-week academic tutoring packages, we do offer flexible two-part installment plans. Contract drafting services generally require a standard upfront deposit.

What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?

We understand that emergencies happen. If you need to reschedule a tutoring or coaching session, we ask that you notify your tutor or our support team via email or WhatsApp at least 24 hours in advance so we can adjust your timetable without you forfeiting your session.

Academic Tutoring & Coaching

What is the difference between Tutoring and Coaching?

Tutoring teaches you the substance of the law (e.g., explaining Company Law or Civil Litigation). Coaching teaches you the strategy (e.g., time management, coping with exam anxiety, and the IRAC answering method).

Do you offer tutoring for Law students outside of Nigeria?

Yes. While we have specialized packages for the Nigerian Law School (Bar Part I, II, and Resits), we also provide academic coaching and foundational law tutoring for LLB students across various Commonwealth jurisdictions.

Do your sessions cover the drafting aspect of Bar Part II?

Absolutely. We understand that knowing the theory isn't enough for the Bar Finals. So, we focus heavily on teaching you how to draft airtight motions, charges, deeds, and corporate resolutions.

Can I book a session just to solve past questions?

Yes. We offer targeted past-question drills where we sit with you and break down exactly how to structure your answers for maximum marks.

I failed the Bar Finals previously. Can coaching help me pass the resit?

Yes. Resit students are our priority. We start with a targeted performance assessment to figure out exactly where you lost marks, and then we build a customized, low-stress strategy to get you across the finish line. We advise a combined package with tutoring and coaching to address both your specific knowledge gaps and your overall exam strategy.

I haven’t been admitted to university yet. Can you still help me?

Absolutely. We guide aspiring law students on subject combinations, JAMB preparation strategies, and university selection. We can also introduce you to foundational legal concepts so you’re ahead of the class when you resume your first year.

Professional Legal Services (Consultations, Contracts & Legal Script Audit)

How much do your contract services cost?

We operate on clear, flat-fee pricing based on the complexity of the document. You will never be hit with unexpected hourly retainer fees.

Can I just send you a contract I downloaded from the internet to review?

Yes. We will audit your generic template, close any dangerous loopholes, and adapt it to ensure it is fully compliant and enforceable under local laws.

What happens if the other party breaches the contract you drafted?

Our services focus on preventative drafting and risk mitigation. If a dispute escalates to a courtroom, we can refer you to a trusted litigation firm within our network.

What exactly does a "legal script audit" or "film-script review" entail?

We review your film, TV, or content scripts with two main goals: Risk Mitigation (spotting potential copyright, trademark, or defamation liabilities before you go into production) and Authenticity (ensuring that courtroom scenes, police procedures, and legal jargon, etc., are entirely accurate to real-world practice).

Do I really need a legal review if my script is a work of fiction?

Yes. Even in fiction, the unauthorized use of real brand names, real people's likenesses, or poorly disguised true events can invite defamation or intellectual property lawsuits. Also, if your story features lawyers or law enforcement, an inaccurate script can quickly pull audiences out of the story. We help you bulletproof your script on both fronts.

Will you rewrite my script if you find legal inaccuracies?

We never interfere with your creative vision. Instead, we provide a detailed audit report highlighting the problematic dialogue or scenarios, alongside specific, easy-to-implement suggestions on how to fix them while keeping your original storyline completely intact.

Will my script and ideas be kept confidential?

100%. Your intellectual property is completely safe. We sign a strict Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before you send us a single page of your screenplay.

How is pricing determined for script reviews?

Pricing is strictly flat-fee and based on the length of the script (e.g., short film vs. feature-length) and the density of the legal themes involved. You can email us a brief synopsis and page count for a custom quote.
