    Before you start punching in numbers, here is a quick breakdown of what we are calculating:

  • GPA (Grade Point Average):

    This is your performance scorecard for a single semester. It takes the grades you got in every course (A, B, C...) and weights them against the credit units to give you one number that represents how well you did that term.

  • CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average):

    This is the big picture! Your CGPA combines the results of all your semesters together. This is the number that usually determines your final degree classification (First Class, Second Class Upper, etc.).

    Start by choosing your university's grading system. 5.0 Scale: (A = 5 Points) – Most common in Nigeria. 4.0 Scale: (A = 4 Points) – Common in international schools but also used in some Nigerian schools. Changed your mind? You can toggle between scales instantly using the button at the top!

  • Input Your Courses:

    Enter your Course Code (e.g., LAW101) – Optional, but good for tracking. Enter the Credit Units for that course. Select your Grade from the dropdown menu (A–F).
